With a length of 4.1 metres, the Epiq city SUV crossover offers ample room for five passengers and a luggage capacity of up to 490 litres. It offers an electric range of up to 400 kilometres and fully integrates the potent new Modern Solid design language, both inside and out.

Design

Modern Solid: a strong, useful, and genuine design that reinterprets iconic Skoda featuresRobustness, usefulness, and genuineness are combined in the new Modern Solid design language. The new Skoda wordmark is emblazoned on a sculpted bonnet of the Škoda Epiq design study. Its glossy black Tech-Deck Face, which houses electrical components like the front camera and distance radar, is a contemporary take on the iconic Koda grille.

Light

Bifunctional T-shaped LED elements for the daytime running lights and indicators surround the Tech-Deck Face. The primary headlamps are positioned in a secondary, lower position. Their light modules are equipped with Matrix LED technology and have a cubist-inspired design. There is a bold spoiler painted in Unique Dark Chrome on the sturdy front bumper.

A high, sweeping tornado line that visually divides the greenhouse from the rest of the body and highlights the car’s strong shoulders is what makes the side view so distinctive. With their eye-catching trim, the wheel arches below house aerodynamically optimised wheels. For maximum aerodynamic efficiency, the low, gently sloping roof line merges into a roof spoiler.

Strong bumpers and SKoda lettering in Unique Dark Chrome on the tailboard are additional features on the back. The matt metallic paintwork in bright Moon White highlights the Škoda Epic design study’s minimalist style. Vibrant orange accents on the front and rear bumpers, wheels, and roof rails provide visual interest.

Technology, Interior

Modern technology, a minimalist interior, and practical featuresThe first production car with a modern, solid, minimalist interior that emphasises long-lasting, useful, and sustainable materials will be the Škoda Epiq.

It features Simply Clever compartments for even more storage options in addition to an open storage area with a wireless phone charger in the free-floating centre console. Some of the brand’s signature Simply Clever features, like bag hooks, cargo elements, fastening hooks, and a concealed underfloor compartment, are also advantageous to the boot.

In addition to physical buttons and haptic scroll wheels with flashy orange accents to control key functions while driving, the two-spoke steering wheel features the new Koda lettering. The customer’s digital experience is improved by the mobile digital key, which permits a variety of interactions through the customer’s smart device.

This highlights the constant customer-focused nature of Škoda’s “mobile first” strategy, which aims to simplify drivers’ daily lives. Additionally, the Škoda Epiq is capable of bidirectional charging, which turns the vehicle into a mobile energy storage device that can supply extra electricity to the owner’s house and other appliances.

A remarkable moniker for a monumental turning point in Koda historyThe unique and instantly recognisable name of the Škoda Epiq highlights its significance as a turning point in the company’s history. It is a perfect fit for the name of Škoda’s BEV SUV models: the Q at the end designates it as a member of the brand’s SUV family, and the E at the beginning denotes a battery-electric Škoda model. The word “epiq” comes from the ancient Greek word “epos,” which can mean “word,” “verse,” “tale,” or “poem.”

Positive connotations such as amazing, great, extraordinary, and remarkable are evoked by the name. The Škoda Epiq strives to satisfy the needs of customers who are both family- and lifestyle-oriented with its smart features and adaptability.
